The map: if you click on the dots special symbols at the towns you can see the dates of my trip. On the way I have already made I selected only symbols for my sleeping sites. (so: for the most westernly part of my trip). I am now approaching the eastern part of Spain. For the other parts of the map I have used these symbols as a reminder for me of the way description. I eliminate these symbols when they are not opportune anymore.
Remember: you can use several options of Google maps to see details (zoom and pan, with the help of the buttons on the left site of the map).
