On the road again.

On tuesday I finally could start again. My Rosinante is doing well, only I have to exchange my break pads. I start early, because i take the heaviest but most beautiful of the 2 alternative routes to Granada. This one has a long stony road.
Just before Huesa I was running down pretty fast, 45 km/h. Three young people were walking along the road. Suddenly I heard a scream and a dog ran just before my front wheel. I could not do anything, so I hit him hard and I fell down, rolled over and shifted over the road. I always have said that you do not fall severely with a recumbent, but this was a mean one.
I had 3 pretty big scrapes. So I went to the doctor in the village and got the right care, gratis. The bike was quite OK, some small damage.
The dog was brought to a house and the people came back with the message that he had not survived the accident. Poor thing, I had more luck.
The difficult part of this day was, because of the accident just at noon. It really was beautiful, worth while the effort.
After the siesta I came into a region with volcanoe ash soil. Really beautiful.
At about 7 pm I started to look for a sleeping place. After 100 km and 70 to go to Granada it was about time. i found a good one, 100 m from the road very well protected.
There is no connection here, so I will send this on Wednesday.

What a story! I hope you feel OK. Take care of you and look out some crazy dogs... I hope you won't meet any bull on your road... ;)
